How these figures are computed

At build time this page calls GET https://fapi.asterdex.com/fapi/v1/fundingRate?symbol=<symbol>&limit=1000 once per market and GET /fapi/v1/fundingInfo once. The first returns the realized settlements, oldest to newest; the second returns each market's fundingIntervalHours. Of the 25 markets here, 6 settle every 4 hours, 19 settle every 8 hours, which is why the interval is stated per row and the annualized figure is mean × (24 ÷ interval) × 365 rather than a single multiplier. The 30-day window is the 30 days ending at the latest settlement returned; the 90-day window is reported only where the returned rows reach back at least 90 days, since the endpoint caps at 1,000 rows. No figure is carried between builds: a rebuild re-reads everything, and the snapshot time above is when that happened. Funding on Aster is capped per market by the fundingFeeCap and fundingFeeFloor the same endpoint reports, listed under each market.

What a funding history tells you

The current rate on the markets hub is one settlement. A history shows whether that settlement is typical: a market whose longs paid at nine settlements in ten over a month is persistently crowded long, and the cumulative column is the cost that crowding imposed on anyone who held through it. That cost lands on the position as unrealized loss, which is the mechanism by which funding moves a liquidation price closer over time; the arithmetic is worked through on the liquidation guide. The comparison with other venues is out of scope here, and so is any suggestion of what to do with the numbers.
