Asterpedia is not Aster

This page exists because the distinction matters and a footer line is easy to miss. Asterpedia is a third-party publication written by a trader who uses Aster. It has no relationship with the people who build or run it.

Asterpedia is an independent, unofficial resource. It is not affiliated with, produced by, reviewed by, endorsed by or sponsored by Aster, asterdex.com, their operators, or their backers including YZi Labs. "Aster", "ASTER" and the Aster logo are trademarks of their respective owners, used here for identification only.

No affiliation, of any kind

Nobody at Aster commissioned this site, reviewed it, approved it, or was asked to. Nothing published here should be read as a statement by Aster or on its behalf. If something on this site conflicts with Aster's own documentation, their documentation is correct and this site is wrong, so please tell us so it can be fixed.

We do earn money if you use our referral link. This site contains referral links. When you sign up to Aster through our link or code MMTz04, we earn a commission on your trading fees, and this account is configured to pass 5% of those fees back to you as a rebate. Aster sets and administers the program, not us. This is not financial advice. A commercial interest in you signing up is not the same as a relationship with the platform, and we would rather say both things plainly than either one quietly.

Trademarks and naming

“Aster”, “ASTER”, “Astherus”, “APX Finance” and the Aster logo are trademarks of their respective owners. They appear on this site only to identify the platform being written about, which is ordinary descriptive use. The Aster logo appears at small size beside Aster's name in article text, the same way the logo of every other platform, wallet and chain covered here does.

Asterpedia's own mark, the four-point sparkle in the header, is original and is not Aster's glyph. Screenshots of the Aster interface are reproduced for commentary and instruction.

What we do and do not know about who runs Aster

This is worth being precise about, because guessing at corporate structure is one of the easiest ways for a site like this to publish something false.

As of 14 August 2026, Aster's own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy name no legal entity at all. Both refer only to “Aster”. The Terms specify Hong Kong governing law and arbitration at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. There is no stated company name, jurisdiction of incorporation or registered office.

So when this site says the notice covers Aster's “operators”, that is not evasiveness. It is the most specific thing the public record supports. A Cayman foundation company registered as “Aster Foundation” does exist, but nothing published by Aster connects it to this platform and its incorporation predates the Astherus/APX merger, so this site does not assert they are the same body.

YZi Labs (formerly Binance Labs) is described as a backer in Aster's own launch announcement. Backing an exchange is not operating one, and this site does not claim YZi Labs controls Aster, its token allocations, or its decisions. Where we describe who did what, we are reporting what the parties themselves have published.

Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Trading perpetual futures carries a substantial risk of loss. In particular, this site does not tell you whether trading perpetual futures, tokenized equities or any other product is legal where you live, whether any token is or is not a security, or what any of it does to your tax return. Those answers depend on facts about you that we do not have, and getting them wrong is expensive. Read the primary sources and talk to someone qualified in your jurisdiction.

Where this site describes an eligibility or verification requirement, it is describing what the product visibly does today, not asserting that any legal obligation does or does not apply to it or to you.

The limits of what we can say about motive and structure

We can observe what a product does. We cannot see inside a private team's reasoning, and we try not to write as if we can. When this site explains why something was built a particular way, it should be quoting a public statement and linking it. If you find a passage that asserts intent without a source, that is a defect, so please report it.

The same applies to which entity does what. Foundations, development companies, backers, validators and “the team” are not interchangeable, and this site does not assert control over token allocations, company headcount, or the terms of commercial arrangements between third parties.

Third parties and things Aster does not control

A lot of what you can reach through Aster is not Aster. Tokenized equities are issued by their issuer. Index and mark prices for stock and commodity perps come from third-party oracle providers. The underlying networks (BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana and Arbitrum) are independent, as are the wallets you connect with and the yield strategies backing any asset you hold.

Where this site names a product, it tries to name whoever is actually responsible for it. Responsibility for a third-party asset, network or protocol sits with that third party, not with Aster and certainly not with us.

Accuracy, and where numbers come from

Aster ships quickly. Fees, leverage caps, supported chains and token mechanics change, sometimes between one week and the next. Every figure on this site is a snapshot with a date on it, and the methodology page explains how they are gathered. Live market data is pulled from Aster's public API at read time.

Verify anything that matters against the primary source before you act on it. This site is provided as-is, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for any purpose.

Looking for the real Aster?

If you landed here expecting Aster itself, these are their own channels. We are not one of them, and we cannot help with account access, deposits, withdrawals or recovering funds. Anyone who contacts you offering to do so is a scammer.
